Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders

Yesterday morning before we left for church, I was sitting on the couch and I came across these scriptures in Colossians 3:

Colossians 3:15-17 " Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdon, and as you sing psalms, hymn and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."

Then moving on through Colossians 4, this stood out to me:

Colossians 4:2-6 " Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most out of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone."

Upon reading that last passage, I was brought the the shameful reality. I will admit I have not been the best at living out that example in my life lately. But in my admitting this I am asking for your prayers.
